Jordan growth accelerates to 3% as Morocco sees slowdown in Q2

Jordan's economy grew by 3% in the second quarter of 2026, an increase from 2.8% in 2025, driven by strong performance in the agricultural and manufacturing sectors despite regional conflicts. In contrast, Morocco's growth slowed to 4%, down from 5.8% the previous year, largely due to a decline in non-agricultural activities and contractions in the extractive and manufacturing industries.
