Oman’s business activity expands as wholesale, retail sector grows 5%
JEDDAH: Oman’s business activity continued to grow in the first half, with the wholesale and retail sector’s gross domestic product rising 5 percent to 1.74 billion Omani rials ($4.5 billion), official data showed. Foreign investment in commercial activities rose 9.7 percent to about 305.3 million rials, while re-exports increased 13.6 percent to about 1.14 billion rials, according to data from the National Centre for Statistics and Information.
