Norway’s sovereign wealth fund has withdrawn $661 million from five Israeli banks as part of an ethical review, citing concerns over their contributions to serious human rights violations in conflict areas. This move follows a broader divestment strategy that includes previous exclusions from investments in Caterpillar Inc. and other Israeli companies due to similar ethical concerns.
